The app
Record on Android
Carry one Android phone. Sign in, pick skate or boxing, press start.
Motion and GPS stream live. When you stop, you get a UIS score from 0 to 1000.
Follow friends in the app (QR or email) and jump into a session they are recording.

UIS
Universal Impact Score, 0–1000. See the formula below — same math the phone runs when a session ends.

How UIS is calculated
When you stop recording, the app keeps the session’s peak accelerometer magnitude
A (m/s²) and peak gyroscope magnitude ω (rad/s). UIS is:
raw = wa·A + wg·ω
UIS = clamp( round( raw / max × 1000 ), 0, 1000 )
| Sport | wa (accel) | wg (gyro) | max |
| Boxing | 0.65 | 0.35 | 200 |
| Rollerblade | 0.45 | 0.55 | 100 |
Example: boxing with A = 100 and ω = 100 → raw = 100 → UIS = 500.
Skate with the same peaks → UIS = 1000.
MADXS is the acronym for MADXtreamSports. MAD means Motion Active Data.
